Automation of Carbon Emission Registration and Monitoring
Provision of Greenhouse Gas Emission Reports
SparkLabs (CEO Kim Yoo-jin) announced on the 27th that it has made a seed investment in Rebit (CEO Lee Jung-min), a company providing smart carbon emission management solutions for enterprises. Plan H also participated jointly in this investment.
Founded in January 2022, Rebit offers 'TANSOLUTION,' a software-as-a-service (SaaS) carbon emission management solution targeting the manufacturing and construction industries. By implementing automation technology, it allows corporate managers to easily register and monitor emissions. It features a report generation function based on global standard guidelines to support efficient carbon emission management.
Recently, Rebit has been expanding its customized services usable by companies of all sizes, from small and medium enterprises to large corporations, such as building a 'Construction Site Greenhouse Gas Inventory' in collaboration with Hoban Construction to prepare for the greenhouse gas target management system in the construction industry.
With this investment, Rebit plans to conduct research and development (R&D) on reducing corporate carbon emissions and to advance its services by integrating artificial intelligence (AI) technology into its solutions, aiming to leap to the next stage.
Lee Jung-min, CEO of Rebit, said, "The core of our solution is to simplify activity data collection and provide customized reduction strategies to help companies achieve carbon neutrality. By enhancing AI algorithms, we will implement a cost-effective carbon emission management process and expand our services to voluntary carbon markets where carbon reductions can be traded as credits."
