Selected as the Best Local Government in Jeollanam-do Architectural Administration Strengthening Evaluation
Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do was selected as the best local government in the 2023 Jeollanam-do Architecture Administration Solidification Evaluation.
According to the county on the 27th, the Architecture Administration Solidification Evaluation is conducted annually based on a total of 22 indicators across 6 categories, including building permits, safety management, maintenance, and efforts to improve architectural administration, evaluating the overall architectural administration of 22 cities and counties within the province.

Haenam-gun received high marks for fully complying with the processing period for civil complaints such as building permits and architectural reviews, and for its continuous efforts to prevent building safety accidents through regular building inspections, establishment of management plans, and surveys and maintenance plans for illegal buildings.
In addition, by correcting errors in the building register, the county improved the quality and credibility of the building register, while strengthening management and inspection of illegal buildings through crackdowns and measures against violations and residential environment improvements, thereby promoting the solidification of architectural administration and gaining positive responses.
A county official stated, “We will continue to do our best to provide safe and trusted architectural administration services together with residents and local architects.”
