According to their agency Big Hit Music on the 25th, the title track "Spring Day" from the special album "WINGS: You Never Walk Alone" (2017), a repackage of their second full album "WINGS," the track "Outro: Tear" from their third full album "LOVE YOURSELF 轉 Tear" (2018), and the debut album "2 COOL 4 SKOOL" title track "No More Dream" (2013) each consecutively reached number one on the global iTunes "Top Songs" chart (December 13?15). All three songs also entered the US Billboard "Digital Song Sales" chart and ranked high on major Billboard charts.

The music video for "Yet To Come," the title track of BTS's anthology album "Proof" (2022), surpassed 200 million views on YouTube on the 19th. Big Hit Music explained, "Not only 'Yet To Come,' but the view counts of BTS’s existing music videos have been on the rise since the 10th of this month."

With RM and V enlisting on the 11th, and Jimin and Jungkook on the 12th, the 10th was just before they began their military service. Following Jin, J-Hope, and Suga who started their service earlier, all seven members have now entered military service, prompting the BTS fandom "ARMY" to replay songs that hold special meaning to both the team and themselves, bringing renewed attention to these tracks.

"No More Dream" holds deep significance for both the members and ARMY as BTS’s debut song. "Spring Day" and "Outro: Tear" are songs themed around longing, with titles, lyrics, and melodies that resonate with the emotions of fans worldwide who are waiting for BTS.

Additionally, "Outro: Tear" was created collaboratively by RM, Suga, and J-Hope during a difficult period for the team. Lyrics such as "We walked toward the same place, but this became our end," "We used to talk about eternity, but mercilessly we break each other," and "We thought we shared the same dream, but that dream finally became just a dream" reflect BTS’s feelings at that time.

The song embodies the mindset of starting anew while reflecting on the value of the efforts BTS poured in to overcome adversity and become who they are today. When V appeared on Suga’s talk show-style content "Suchtita" last September, Suga described "Outro: Tear" as "a message to the members."

Big Hit Music stated, "We are closely monitoring the recent phenomenon in the global music market following the enlistment of all BTS members," and explained, "This is interpreted as the result of the fans’ mixed feelings of regret during BTS’s hiatus and their anticipation for the group’s full activities in 2025."
