Why did a famous YouTuber and chef visit Ulsan?

On the 24th, Ulsan City announced that it supported the production of a popular entertainment program featuring Chef Jeong Ji-seon and the YouTuber Hibab, who has 1.57 million subscribers.

In the episode of KBS 2TV’s popular entertainment program ‘The Boss Has Donkey Ears - Ulsan Edition’ aired on the 24th, Chef Jeong was shown touring various parts of Ulsan with Hibab, capturing the city’s beautiful charm on YouTube.

Under the theme of ‘Korean Table,’ which combines travel and mukbang, Chef Jeong Ji-seon began filming at the Sipridaesup Bamboo Grove in Taehwagang National Garden, where Hibab joined to share useful tips for YouTube content creation.

Using the Ulsan tourism information app ‘Wasseo Ulsan,’ Hibab first found a popular restaurant in Ulsan and suggested an Eonyang Bulgogi mukbang. Believing that generous portions maximize visual impact, Hibab ordered 20 servings, and Chef Jeong Ji-seon started filming the YouTube video while receiving advice on how to express the taste, showing a series of humorous and clumsy moments.

The next destination they visited was Jangsaengpo Whale Culture Village. There, they rode the Jangsaengpo Monorail, which offers panoramic views of Jangsaengpo Bay, the Whale Culture Village, Ulsan Bridge, and the Ulsan Industrial Complex. Afterwards, they moved to Bangojin, named for its abundant yellowtail catch, where they watched a yellowtail filleting show and tasted fresh yellowtail sashimi.

Continuing the YouTube mukbang while enjoying various yellowtail dishes, Chef Jeong Ji-seon, known as the Queen of Dim Sum, also created whale-shaped dim sum and warmly gifted it to local residents.

An official from Ulsan City said, “We hope the experiential tourism content and delicacies of Ulsan introduced in this program will become a nationwide sensation,” adding, “We plan to maximize promotional effects by actively collaborating with the broadcast and various SNS channels.”
