Beomhan Mecatech donated 10 million won for heating expenses to vulnerable groups during the winter season in Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, on the 22nd.
The donated heating expenses will be delivered to 100 households in crisis within the welfare blind spots who are experiencing economic difficulties through the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea.
Hwang Kyung-su, Executive Director of Beomhan Mecatech, said, “We provided winter heating expenses needed by vulnerable groups due to the sudden cold. I hope this will help them have a warm winter, even if just a little,” and added, “We will continue to practice sharing activities through various social contribution projects.”
Jang Geum-yong, the First Deputy Mayor, said, “We appreciate that Beomhan Mecatech, a local company, has supported 10 million won for winter heating expenses for neighbors in need again this year, following last year,” and stated, “Since this heating support fund brings comfort and hope to neighbors, we will ensure it is provided to households that truly need it.”
Meanwhile, Beomhan Mecatech is leading the spread of a sharing culture through various social contribution activities such as Love Meal Service, environmental cleanup activities, and housing environment improvement projects.
