‘2023 Changwon-si Saemaeul Leaders Conference’ Held

Mayor Hong Nampyo: "Thank You to Those Who Served for Regional Development"

Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam announced that the Changwon Saemaeul Association held the '2023 Changwon Saemaeul Leaders Conference' on the 21st at the Jinhae District Office large conference room.

The event was attended by guests including Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, Kim Igeun, Chairman of Changwon City Council, Ahn Hwayoung, President of the Saemaeul Movement Gyeongnam Branch, and about 300 Saemaeul leaders.

The event proceeded in the order of screening a video of the city’s Saemaeul Movement activities, awarding outstanding leaders, delivering the main address, congratulatory speeches, and singing the Saemaeul song.

At this occasion, the Saemaeul leaders pledged to take the lead in making the Saemaeul Movement more beloved in the local community in 2023.

Mayor Hong said, “I would like to express my gratitude to the Saemaeul leaders who have devotedly served for regional development and harmony,” and added, “I hope the city’s Saemaeul Association will continue its activities as volunteers and leaders in our community.”
