The Palace of Versailles announced on social media platform X that visitors were evacuated at 10:20 a.m. on the 20th for safety reasons.

It was reported that there were about 2,000 visitors at the Palace of Versailles at the time.

The bomb threat was issued after a suspicious package was found inside the palace, and the Palace of Versailles plans to allow visitors to re-enter once the situation has been assessed.

Since the outbreak of the war between Israel and Hamas in October, the Palace of Versailles has been frequently plagued by false bomb terror threats.
