Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, attended the 2023 Mapo District Saemaeul Leaders Conference held at the district office auditorium on the afternoon of the 20th.
The Saemaeul Leaders Conference, hosted by the Mapo District Saemaeul Association (President Park Jeong-hwan), was attended by about 100 people including branch heads, organization leaders, and Saemaeul leaders. The event proceeded with a business progress report followed by an awards ceremony for outstanding leaders.
A total of 16 recipients were honored at this conference. The award categories were ▲ Medal (Kim Seol-ran) ▲ Minister of the Interior and Safety Commendation (Kim Hyeong-ran, Choi Gwi-im) ▲ Seoul Mayor Commendation (Im Jong-gi, Jo Hyun-ok, Lee Min-ji, Eo Yong-ran) ▲ District Mayor Commendation (Hwang Seung-yeon, Yoo Jong-sik, Lee Seong-ok, Kwon Su-jeong, Lee Jong-im, Yoon Soon-hee, Park Seong-hee, Moon Young-mi, Kim Young-ju).
On this day, Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, personally presented and awarded the commendations to the recipients.
In his encouragement speech, Mayor Park Gang-su said, “I sincerely thank all the leaders who have volunteered to revitalize the Saemaeul Movement in our community throughout this year,” and added, “I hope you will continue to work hard to create a community where all residents live together in harmony.”
