KT, a leading domestic telecommunications company, received the Technology Innovation Award at the '2023 Asia AI Awards' ceremony held on the 20th at the Korea Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul. KT is leading the digital transformation market based on its capabilities in artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and cloud technology. In particular, it is promoting the AI Contact Center (AICC) business based on voice AI technology. Following the conversion of the largest KT customer center in the country into an AI customer center, KT has introduced the A’Cen Cloud solution.

A’Cen Cloud is a Software as a Service (SaaS) AICC that allows the use of all elements necessary for configuring a customer center via the cloud without the need to build the system directly. It provides an all-in-one service operated by AI specialized consulting personnel, including solutions such as voice bots, chatbots, real-time conversation logs, and consultation assistance. KT is differentiating its technology by sequentially applying its super-large AI engine, Mideum. Companies reduce costs, consultants are relieved from simple and repetitive inquiries, and customers receive fast and accurate consultations, resulting in high satisfaction on site. In practice, it has achieved a 10% improvement in consultation quality, a 15% reduction in operating costs, and a 30% reduction in setup costs.
