Uju Gijeon Donates 20 Million KRW to Changwon City's 'Dadungi Dadahmke Kiwoom' Project

Support for Families with Third or Later Born Children

Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam announced on the 20th that Wooju Gijeon donated 20 million KRW in sponsorship funds for families with multiple children.

Wooju Gijeon became the second sponsor by donating 20 million KRW to the “Changwon Citizens’ Love Sharing ‘Raising Multiple Children Together’” project, aiming to celebrate and support the birth of children in this low birthrate era.


Wooju Gijeon is a specialized manufacturer focused on automotive parts cutting processing. It joined the Green Noble Club, a 100 million KRW donor club of Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, in 2021, and in 2022, it supported sponsorship funds for nurturing talented children in the Gyeongnam region, actively practicing sharing through community support activities.


CEO Sangyong Jo said, “Children are our future and hope. From the moment they are born, the community should take interest so they can be blessed and grow up healthy.” He added, “I am grateful to be able to share warm affection for families giving birth during this low birthrate period.”


Eunhwa Cha, head of the Green Umbrella Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters, said, “We thank Wooju Gijeon for always working hard for the happiness of children. I hope everyone has a happy year-end.”


Deputy Mayor Geum-yong Jang said, “Our city will also strive harder to prepare various policies to create an environment favorable for raising children.”
