'Super Yeonhaphoe' Wins This Year's Comprehensive Cooperative Award

The Korea Federation of SMEs Selects and Awards Comprehensive Grand Prize and 9 Category Excellence Cooperative Associations

The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business (Chairman Kim Ki-moon) announced on the 20th that it held the '2023 Cooperative Awards Ceremony' at the Small and Medium Business DMC Tower in Sangam-dong. This year, the Cooperative Awards were divided and presented into the Grand Prize and nine category awards (joint purchasing, joint sales, job creation, overseas market development, distribution/logistics, social contribution, specialized business, new cooperatives, and excellent organizations supporting small and medium enterprises).

The Grand Prize was awarded to the Korea Supermarket Cooperative Federation (Chairman Song Yoo-kyung). ▲Establishment of an integrated system for 39 small and medium logistics distribution centers nationwide and activation of joint purchasing ▲Smooth linkage with manufacturing companies through supply chain management ▲Development of PB products (3-ply deco toilet paper) and OEM production, contributing to the advancement of the industry were recognized as achievements.

Kim Ki-moon, Chairman of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business, said in his opening remarks, "Looking back on this year, there were achievements in establishing an institutional foundation for revitalizing small and medium enterprises and cooperatives, including the successful hosting of the Yongsan Small and Medium Business Conference, implementation of the payment linkage system, improvement of business succession systems, deregulation of industrial complexes, and expansion of foreign workforce," adding, "In line with these policy initiatives, small and medium enterprises will also enhance their self-sustainability through change and innovation and contribute to the development of the Korean economy."
