Daegu Bank Selects Gukil Saenggalbi and Junghwa Banjeom as 'Baeknyeon Gage' ... Samsong Bakery Named 'Baeknyeon Sogongin'

DGB Daegu Bank (President Hwang Byung-woo) selected three stores as a result of the consulting for the ‘Baeknyeon Gage·Baeknyeon Sogongin’ project, which is being conducted to support local small business owners and revitalize the local economy.

The ‘Baeknyeon Gage·Baeknyeon Sogongin’ selection project is organized by the Small Enterprise and Market Service under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. It targets businesses that have maintained their presence for over 30 years (15 years for small manufacturers) and have consistently received customer love. To be selected, businesses must receive high evaluations for excellence and growth potential in assessments conducted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.

They are holding a congratulatory banner and taking a commemorative photo in front of 'Gukil Saeng Galbi,' a restaurant in Jung-gu, Daegu, selected as a Baeknyeon Gage (100-Year Store).

Since 2021, DGB Daegu Bank has supported consulting for discovering and selecting outstanding local companies and their capability statements. This year, through consulting, Junghwa Banjeom and Gukil Saenggalbi were finally selected as Baeknyeon Gage, and Samsong Bakery was selected as Baeknyeon Sogongin.

The selected companies can receive various policy supports such as preferential treatment in small business support projects by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, awarding of certification plaques, customized consulting, preferential loan interest rates, and renovation of aging facilities.

Since 2021, a total of 19 local companies have been selected as Baeknyeon Gage·Baeknyeon Sogongin through consulting by DGB Daegu Bank. The dedicated consulting organization, Eokkaedongmu Comprehensive Support Center, provides financial support, customized marketing support, capacity-building education, and management consulting to small business owners in various industries including food service, woodworking, printing, and electrical equipment, contributing to solving management difficulties and revitalizing the local economy.
