Lee joined the Honors Club this year by supporting meals for children from low-income families, following her donation of proceeds from a bazaar in 2020.

Lee, her husband Ahn Jung-hwan, a former national soccer team player turned broadcaster, their daughter An Ri-won, and son An Ri-hwan have all been active as Save the Children family ambassadors since 2019.

Lee said, "It is meaningful to naturally teach about sharing while working as an ambassador with children," adding, "I will continue to support diligently in the future."

Earlier, in February, Ahn Jung-hwan donated 100 million KRW from his YouTube channel earnings, joining the Honors Club. With this, Ahn achieved a cumulative donation of 300 million KRW within two years of starting his YouTube activities for charity.

Recently, singer Sean, known as the king of donations in the entertainment industry, attracted attention by building the country's first specialized nursing hospital for patients with Lou Gehrig's disease (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), tentatively named Lou Gehrig Nursing Hospital.

On the 16th, the Seungil Hope Foundation, co-led by Sean, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Lou Gehrig Nursing Hospital in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province on the 13th. This is the fruition of 14 years since establishing the foundation in 2011 with former basketball coach Park Seung-il, who suffers from Lou Gehrig's disease.

Sean has actively conducted various campaigns and challenges to build the hospital. This year alone, he participated in events such as the '2023 Chuncheon Marathon,' '2023 Miracle365 Ice Bucket Challenge Run,' and 'Tongyeong Triathlon,' raising 550 million KRW in donations.

Additionally, actors Han Ji-min, Park Bo-young, singers Hyeri, Taeyeon, and BTS's Jin have joined the UNICEF Honors Club, which requires a minimum donation of 100 million KRW for membership.
