Gangjin-gun Demonstrates and Educates on Administrative Integration Technology with Chat GPT

On the 19th, Gangjin-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that on the 15th, it held a demonstration of Chat GPT's administrative application technology and staff training.

This training focused on hands-on practice and learning how to use Chat GPT for writing civil complaint responses, greetings, planning documents, and press releases.

Since April, after demonstrating how to use Chat GPT to improve employees' work efficiency and problem-solving abilities in the field, the county has been continuously conducting training and practice sessions for all employees.

During the training, the 4th Industrial Revolution Support Team showcased processes that easily assist with daily tasks by using programs they developed themselves with Chat GPT, such as an automatic calculation program for overtime meal allowances and a pre-procedure checklist for various expenditures, which received enthusiastic responses from participants.

A county official said, "As a result of continuously encouraging and educating on the use of Chat GPT, the participants' abilities to write planning documents and press releases using Chat GPT have improved dramatically compared to previous training sessions."

He added, "By mastering the use of the automatic meal allowance calculation and expenditure pre-check programs, it is expected to greatly help reduce work errors and shorten task completion times."

Gangjin-gun holds Chat GPT demonstration sessions biweekly, and through these, it has been practically applying the technology to tasks such as creating Hamel Coffee blending images, developing civil complaint permit guidance web pages, and drafting various task instructions.

In particular, the county supports the usage fees for programs necessary for administrative integration, such as Chat GPT, Midjourney and other image creation programs, and AI video production programs, for all departments as needed, proactively realizing rapid integration into administration.
