On the 16th, an online community for self-employed individuals featured a post from Mr. A, who has been running a Kalguksu restaurant alone for three years. Mr. A shared his experience, saying, "There was a customer who unknowingly made me frown, and I wondered whether this was normal or if I was overreacting."

According to Mr. A, on that day, three middle-aged female customers visited the restaurant and ordered three different dishes: clam Kalguksu, regular Kalguksu, and perilla seed Kalguksu. When the food arrived, the customers immediately requested small plates. Although a sign indicated that small plates were self-service due to the one-person restaurant setup, Mr. A brought them three small plates.

Soon after, the women called Mr. A to ask for a ladle to share the food, and later requested more small plates again. Mr. A, who was cooking alone, fulfilled their requests, but they asked once more for a ladle and small plates each.

Mr. A said, "I was puzzled, but when I brought the small plates, I told them, '(Small plates are) self-service,' and they said, 'Okay.' Then they called again asking for water, so I barely managed to prepare food for other customers," he lamented.

He continued, "After finishing their meal, the customers chatted for a long time, as if the flowers had withered and the fruits had ripened," and added, "After they paid and left, I was shocked to see the table filled with spoons, ladles, and small plates."

The photos Mr. A posted showed what appeared to be two ladles, nine sets of spoons, six paper cups, and an astonishing 16 small plates piled up, presumably used by the customers.

Mr. A expressed his frustration, asking, "Do they eat like this at home? Is this normal, or am I just being too sensitive?"

Netizens who read the post responded with comments such as, "Did they put one bite on each small plate?", "They would never do that at home," "They should consider the environment," "People without common sense," and "Those kinds of people don’t even share side dishes at home."

On the other hand, some netizens commented, "They paid for it, so it’s fine," and "They might have done that to share the food."
