Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do, will conduct joint work until February 2, 2024, to expedite the early ordering of resident convenience projects for the next year.
According to the county on the 18th, next year's Jangseong-gun resident convenience projects include 185 cases worth 5.8 billion KRW, such as irrigation and drainage maintenance, farm road paving, and village road repaving, of which 177 cases (4.9 billion KRW) are self-designed projects.

The county will operate a design support team led by the head of the Construction Division to begin self-design work.
This will advance the project ordering schedule and save about 500 million KRW in design service fees.
The support team consists of 16 members, including facility officials from towns and townships, who will complete on-site surveys and status measurements by the end of this month and finish the design by early February next year.
The goal is to proceed with project ordering in February next year. By swiftly promoting the projects, it aims to quickly improve residents' living conditions and contribute to revitalizing the sluggish construction economy.
Training on construction supervision guidelines and design precautions will also be provided to strengthen the work capabilities of facility officials.
Kim Han-jong, Jangseong-gun governor, who visited the self-design team on the day, said, "Since this project improves the quality of life for residents, I ask you to carry out your duties with responsibility and do your best," and added, "Please complete the projects before the farming season as much as possible to prevent inconvenience to agricultural workers."
