Jung Min-gi, a senior student in the Department of Automotive Engineering at Silla University (President Heo Nam-sik), received the Korean Society of Automotive Engineers (KSAE) President's Award.
The Korean Society of Automotive Engineers, established in 1978, is a leading academic society promoting the academic and technological development of the domestic automotive industry. It awards outstanding students annually to revitalize automotive engineering majors at universities and to discover talent in the automotive field.
At the 2023 KSAE President's Award ceremony held on November 22, Jung Min-gi from Silla University received the KSAE President's Award.
Jung Min-gi demonstrated excellent academic performance and conducted research on the national research project titled “Development of Convergent Parts for Active Utilization of Waste Heat Energy to Optimize Fuel Efficiency Improvement and Harmful Emission Reduction Based on Engine.” He presented a paper on the topic “A study optimization of mobility parts manufacturing by predictive maintenance smart system.” He was also recognized for his excellence in various activities and research, including participation in the “Smart Manufacturing Advanced Workforce Training Project.”
Jung Min-gi expressed his gratitude, saying, “I was able to receive the Korean Society of Automotive Engineers President's Award thanks to the help of many professors and fellow students,” and added, “I will strive to become a researcher worthy of this award, which I received with the support of many precious people.”
