Cheongsong-gun, Year-End Illegal Political Banners and Outdoor Advertisements Nationwide Cleanup

Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, is conducting a focused crackdown and comprehensive cleanup of political party banners and illegal outdoor advertisements from the 11th to the 29th to create a clean street environment.

Cheongsong-gun, Year-End Illegal Political Banners and Outdoor Advertisements Nationwide Cleanup Cheongsong County Office.

This cleanup is being carried out jointly by 10 officials responsible for outdoor advertisements from Cheongsong County Office and the town and township offices. The targeted advertisements for crackdown include political party banners and illegal advertisements that do not comply with laws and related regulations.


The cleanup areas will focus on places with many pedestrians, such as the Cheongsong IC entrance and exit roads, major roadside areas, and around township centers.


In particular, the inspection team will simultaneously clean up political party banners that are not installed according to guidelines or whose display period has expired. Illegal advertisements installed in accident-prone areas such as school zones will be immediately collected and disposed of upon detection.


County Governor Yoon Kyung-hee said, “We ask for the cooperation of all residents to create a proper advertising culture by using designated banner posting stands and to make Cheongsong-gun a pleasant and beautiful place.”
