University graduation projects are selected for broadcast programs and aired on cable.
Dongseo University (President Jang Je-guk) announced on the 18th that six graduation projects produced by senior students of the Department of Broadcasting and Video in the College of Media Contents have been officially scheduled on KTV National Broadcasting, operated by the government.
KTV selected six outstanding works from the 2023 graduation projects of the university's Department of Broadcasting and Video, including "The Happy Life of an Elderly Person," and decided to schedule them on the KTV open programming from January 2024.
This selection marks the third time following the Dongseo University Department of Broadcasting and Video students' works "Shall I Write It as Love?" (drama) and "Nothing Special" (documentary), which were broadcast on paid TV via KTV last year.
Among the works selected for KTV National Broadcasting, "The Happy Life of an Elderly Person" (senior students Kim Kyung-min, Seo Yeon-su, Park Jeong-hyun, and others from the Department of Broadcasting and Video) is a human documentary that thoughtfully highlights the life of an ordinary person through the travel of a grandmother in her 70s living in Haman, Gyeongnam, with her granddaughter, and the grandmother's own recollections.
This work recently won the Best Work Award at the Department of Broadcasting and Video graduation project screening event. Including this work, 16 graduation projects by students of the Department of Broadcasting and Video can be viewed on the department's OTT service "MOCA."
