SK Gas Launches Membership for LPG 1t Truck Customers

SK Gas is launching a membership program and conducting various events in line with the release of the new LPG 1t truck.

The 'Happiness 1t' membership, exclusively for LPG 1t truck customers, will be available in basic and partnership types. The basic type is free to join for any customer who verifies ownership of an LPG 1t truck through gas stations or online. Muffin Points equivalent to 1% of the refueling amount will be accumulated by default, and starting from the second quarter of next year, a stamp accumulation benefit that can be exchanged for gifticons based on the refueling amount will also be added.

The partnership type, operated exclusively for companies, provides customized content and benefits tailored to the needs of each company in addition to the basic type benefits.

Besides the two membership types, SK Gas plans to sequentially launch content-type memberships in collaboration with insurance companies, leasing companies, and others. The goal is to offer various solutions throughout the entire vehicle lifecycle, from LPG 1t truck purchase and leasing to maintenance and insurance.

Additionally, a video advertisement commemorating the launch of the LPG 1t truck has been produced. On the 15th, SK Gas released the first video titled "A Slightly Special Run Moving the World, 1t Truck" on its official YouTube channel. The video was planned to express gratitude to the nationwide 1t truck drivers who silently support our daily lives behind the scenes and to convey the message that SK Gas will accompany them.

Moreover, SK Gas is conducting a special event to give away a limited-edition '3-Minute Charge 1t Curry.' Starting from February next year, it will be given free of charge while supplies last at major dealerships nationwide during LPG 1t truck purchase consultations and when 1t truck owners visit Happiness 1t Plus gas stations.

Meanwhile, Hyundai Motor Company and Kia Motors recently launched the new LPG 1t trucks 'Porter' and 'Bongo,' respectively. They have garnered high interest, surpassing a combined contract volume of 38,000 units. Equipped with a 94ℓ donut-shaped tank that is harder and lighter than the existing 84ℓ cylinder-type fuel tank, it can be filled up to about 75ℓ, which is 80% of its capacity, increasing the overall driving range and improving fuel efficiency.
