On the 17th (local time), the Langer duo shot a 13-under-par 59 in the final second round of the PNC Championship, a PGA Tour Champions event held at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida (par 72, 7,106 yards), securing a two-stroke victory with a total score of 25-under-par 119. This marks their fifth career win, and their first in four years, having previously won in 2005, 2006, 2014, and 2019. The tournament features 20 major champions paired with family members in two-person teams. The format involves each player hitting a shot, then selecting the better ball position to play the next shot from.

The Langer duo started three strokes behind in a tie for second place and collected 13 birdies without a single bogey. Notably, they recorded seven consecutive birdies from holes 1 through 7. Bernhard Langer has three PGA Tour wins, including Masters victories in 1985 and 1993. Known as the "Senior Emperor," he has 42 DP World Tour wins and has amassed 46 Champions Tour victories since 2007. In 2017 alone, he secured an impressive seven wins.

David Duval (USA) and his son finished second with 23-under-par 121, defending champions Vijay Singh (Fiji) and his son placed third with 22-under-par 122, and left-handed Retief Goosen (South Africa) and his son came in fourth with 21-under-par 123. "Golf Emperor" Tiger Woods (USA), playing with his 14-year-old son Charlie, recorded one eagle and nine birdies to shoot 11-under-par. Along with John Daly (USA) and his son, they tied for fifth place at 19-under-par 125. Matt Kuchar (USA) and his son, who led the previous day, fell back to this group after shooting 4-under-par in the final round.
