Jeep New Wrangler Pre-Order... Base Model Priced in the 60 Million KRW Range

Stellantis Korea announced that it will begin accepting pre-orders for the new model of the off-road vehicle Wrangler, an SUV brand Jeep, starting from the 14th.

The new Wrangler is a facelifted version of the 5th generation model launched in 2017. It was previously unveiled at this year's New York Auto Show. The front grille and headlamp design have been changed. A windshield-integrated stealth antenna has been applied, which protects against obstacles such as branches during off-road driving.

The wheels come in four designs ranging from 17 to 18 inches as standard options. The top consists of a black or body-colored hardtop and a Sky One-Touch Power Top. The exterior features one new color added and additional colors from previous limited editions, totaling 10 options.

Inside, a 12.3-inch touchscreen with a faster infotainment system than before is installed. T-map navigation is built-in. The company explained that the driving assistance system and off-road performance have also been improved compared to the previous model.

It combines a 2.0ℓ gasoline turbo engine with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The base model, Sport, is priced in the 60 million KRW range, while the off-road-focused trim Rubicon and the urban model Sahara, renamed from the previous Overland, are in the 70 million KRW range. The Rubicon 4-door Power Top is in the 80 million KRW range. Pre-order customers can receive benefits such as an extended warranty of 5 years or 130,000 km, or the installation of Auto Power Side Steps.
