Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF) is opening an office in New York, USA, to raise overseas funds and attract investments aimed at helping actual homebuyers purchase homes and alleviating housing cost burdens.

On the 13th (local time), Korea Housing Finance Corporation announced that it held an opening ceremony for its New York office in Manhattan, New York. Accordingly, the HF New York office plans to serve as a North American hub for smooth overseas fundraising and discovering quality investment opportunities by supporting funding for policy mortgage supply, attracting overseas investors, and establishing collaborative systems with global investment institutions.
At the opening ceremony, Lee Hwan-seok, Vice President of HF Corporation, said, “Through the New York office, we will strive to ensure continuous investment in Housing Finance Corporation bonds in the North American region.”
Meanwhile, on the same day, Vice President Lee discussed ways to build a mutual cooperative relationship, including sharing business know-how between the two public sector institutions responsible for the housing finance market, during a meeting with Sam Valverde, Vice President of GNMA, a U.S. housing mortgage guarantee agency.
