This event was organized by Seocho-gu to express gratitude and honor donors, aiming to promote a culture of giving and discover various welfare resources. One hundred individuals were selected through public-private recommendations from sponsors of the Warm Winter Project within Seocho-gu, designated donation companies, small and medium-sized merchants, and regular donors from welfare organizations.

Since 2021, CJ Logistics Construction Division has been conducting volunteer activities delivering warmth packages to households in crisis within the welfare blind spots of Seocho-gu. Over the past three years, 470 employees have visited and volunteered more than 240 times for a total of 24 households, including elderly living alone, grandparent-grandchild families, and single-parent families focused on raising children and adolescents. The recipient households were selected primarily through Caritas Bangbae Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, focusing on those in greater need of assistance.

From March to December over the past three years, employees have personally purchased and delivered groceries, nutritional supplements, health functional foods, children's clothing, toys, and small home appliances needed by each household, while checking on their well-being. During Family Month in May, small gifts were given to households with children; in November, support gifts were delivered to households with exam-taking students; and in December, cakes were separately provided to celebrate the year-end. Additionally, for other households within Seocho-gu, Chuseok gifts are given during the Chuseok holiday, and kimchi for kimjang is supported in winter in collaboration with the CJ Sharing Foundation.

Min Young-hak, CEO of CJ Logistics Construction Division, said, “We are grateful that our small activities, carried out together with our employees as a company located in Seocho-gu and a member of the local community, have been recognized. CJ Logistics Construction Division will continue to actively practice the group’s philosophy of sharing through sincere and ongoing employee participation.”
