International Lions Club District 354-C Donates 143 Boxes of Ramen for Underprivileged Neighbors

Dongdaemun-gu (District Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) announced on the morning of the 13th that the International Lions Club District 354-C (Governor Im Ho-wan) donated 143 boxes of ramen (worth approximately 3 million KRW) to help neighbors in need during the cold winter.


The donation ceremony held in the reception room on the 5th floor of the district office was attended by Lee Pil-hyung, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, Im Ho-wan, Governor of International Lions Club District 354-C, Kwak Kyung-seok, Vice Governor of Region 2, Park In-eok, Secretary General, Jeon Won-hee, Deputy Secretary General, Min Kyung-ik, Treasurer General, and Lee Woo-jung, Protocol Deputy General.


The Lions Club District 354-C donates necessary items every year as part of their Warm Winter Campaign to support marginalized neighbors in the community. This year, they donated ramen to bring warmth to lonely households.


Lee Pil-hyung, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, expressed his gratitude, saying, “I thank the International Lions Club District 354-C for practicing sharing every year to deliver warm kindness to our neighbors. We are also doing our best to support single-person households recently, and we will promptly deliver the donated goods so that they can stay warm during the cold winter.”


The International Lions Club District 354-C signed a community contribution agreement with Dongdaemun-gu in July 2020, and since 2014, before the agreement, they have continued warm sharing every year to help neighbors in need within Dongdaemun-gu.
