Galaxia Moneytree Wins 2023 Korea Brand Consumer Evaluation Award for Prepaid Card 'Moneytree Card'

Galaxia Moneytree announced on the 13th that its prepaid card, 'Moneytree Card,' received the 2023 Korea Brand Consumer Evaluation Award.

The Korea Brand Consumer Evaluation Award, hosted by the Korea Brand Evaluation Committee (KEBI), is a ceremony that selects outstanding brands with high consumer trust and satisfaction. The event is organized to discover companies that have contributed to brand development, judged by a panel of experts from various fields.

The Moneytree Card is a prepaid card that can be charged with mobile phone payments, simple accounts, and Moneytree Cash?payment methods mainly used online?and can be used both online and offline. By linking the card to the simple payment app 'Moneytree,' users can charge Moneytree Cash through points, gift certificates, credit cards, etc., and use it at approximately 3 million offline affiliated stores nationwide.

Anyone aged 14 or older can apply for the Moneytree Card through the Moneytree app or website. In particular, there are no annual fees or issuance fees, making it easy to apply without burden. Additionally, regardless of the previous month's performance, various benefits are provided based on charging and usage, receiving positive evaluations from consumers. During year-end tax settlement, users can also receive a 30% income deduction benefit, the same as with check cards.

A Galaxia Moneytree representative said, "The Moneytree Card is a useful service that combines the mobile phone payment method mainly used online with a card, allowing it to be used at offline affiliated stores." He added, "By linking with the Moneytree app, convenient features that enable the use of points, which could not be used for offline payments, for payment are increasing the scale of transactions."
