In the performance evaluation of the Yeongsan River and Seomjin River watershed management fund support projects, four local governments including Boseong-gun were selected as excellent institutions.
According to the Yeongsan River Basin Environmental Office on the 13th, the fund project performance evaluation is conducted annually to enhance transparency in fund management, improve project implementation efficiency, and share outstanding project achievements.
The evaluation targets for the 2022 fiscal year include three categories: resident support by management office, installation of basic environmental facilities, and other water quality improvement support.
By category, ▲ resident support projects by management office were awarded to Boseong-gun·Yeongam-gun ▲ installation of basic environmental facilities projects to Jangheung-gun and Boseong-gun ▲ other water quality improvement support projects to Jangheung-gun· Gwangju Metropolitan City were each selected as excellent institutions.
Monetary awards ranging from 1 million to 2 million KRW will be given to each institution.
For those who were found lacking in this evaluation, improvement plans will be established through cause diagnosis.
