Dongseo and Dongseo Foods Donate 970 Million Won for Neighbor Assistance Fundraising

Delivered to 8 Organizations Including the Community Chest of Korea

Dongseo and Dongseo Foods announced on the 12th that they have donated a total of 907 million won in neighbor aid funds to the Community Chest of Korea, Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, Korea Women’s Foundation, Korean Red Cross, Warm Companion, Korea Childhood Cancer Foundation, Naver Happy Bean, and World Wide Fund for Nature Korea to mark the end of the year.

The funds will be used for basic living support for socially vulnerable groups and marginalized neighbors, winter cold-weather supplies support, health and medical support, and improvement of living environments.

Dongseo and Dongseo Foods stated, "We are donating these funds with the hope that the marginalized neighbors in our society will have a warm year-end and New Year and spend the winter healthily," adding, "We will continue to monitor and support areas in need within the local community through various social contribution activities."

Earlier, Dongseo Foods participated in supporting local communities in need by delivering recovery funds and supplies for damages caused by the heavy rains in July and donating products worth about 550 million won annually to food banks nationwide.
