[Click eStocks] "3 Promising Stocks to Soar in the New Year"

Research Alom identified three promising companies for next year on the 11th: JTC, Millieoseoje, and Binggrae.

Researcher Choi Seonghwan from Research Alom explained, "Due to the historic low yen, the cost-effectiveness of traveling to Japan has greatly increased, leading to a rise in the number of tourists visiting Japan and their spending."

He added, "Although the recovery of travelers has not met expectations due to the spread of anti-Japanese sentiment in China, considering that it took an average of about two months from the start of anti-Japanese sentiment to normalization in the past, we expect a recovery of Chinese group tourists from the end of this year."

It is estimated that JTC will achieve sales of 404 billion KRW and operating profit of 35.8 billion KRW next year. This represents an increase of 316% and 7160%, respectively, compared to this year's expected figures.

Researcher Choi also introduced, "Millieoseoje recently launched 'Object Book,' which includes videos and voices created by generative artificial intelligence (AI)," adding, "It summarizes the content of a book within 10 minutes." He said, "It can solve the number one reason for the decrease in reading volume, which is 'no time due to work,'" and "Millieoseoje is expected to benefit as it can satisfy readers' needs who prefer to consume various content in a short time."

He analyzed, "The cumulative number of Millieoseoje subscribers has rapidly increased from 5.2 million in September last year to 6.7 million as of September this year," and estimated that "the penetration rate of online reading platforms is around 7%." He added, "Industries that have shifted from offline to online, such as music streaming and OTT, show penetration rates of over 70%," and "the online reading market is in its early stages and has entered a full-fledged blooming period."

Researcher Choi explained, "The series 'Successful Adult Flex' is steadily gaining popularity online," and "as the trend spreads, purchases of foods and items enjoyed during childhood are increasing." He analyzed, "The domestic snack market grew from 3.6683 trillion KRW in 2019 to 3.9036 trillion KRW in 2022," and "Binggrae has secured a large fandom that continuously consumes its products."
