Hyundai Motor GBC and Other Gangnam-gu Development Projects to Be Seen in One Place

Gangnam-gu Holds Exhibition "Drawing the Future of Gangnam" from 11th to 15th in the Main Lobby of the District Office... Displays 20 Exhibits Including Project Perspectives and Explanations on Hyundai Motor GBC Construction and Yeongdong-daero Underground Complex Development

Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jo Seong-myeong) will hold an exhibition titled "Drawing the Future of Gangnam" in the lobby on the first floor of the district office main building from the 11th to the 15th.

This exhibition, planned to help residents understand the major projects underway in Gangnam-gu, features 20 exhibits including bird's-eye views and explanations.

▲ First, it presents a blueprint of the major changes occurring in the Samseong-dong area, including the international exchange complex district development project underway from COEX to the Jamsil Sports Complex area; ▲ the Hyundai Motor Group GBC construction project, which will create world-class exhibition, convention facilities, and cultural spaces along with office facilities; ▲ public contribution projects to secure infrastructure within the international exchange complex district; ▲ the Yeongdong-daero underground space complex development project, which will create a green plaza and light beams above ground and a wide-area complex transfer center underground; ▲ and the country's first and only outdoor advertising free display zone.

Major projects in the Suseo-dong area, which is transforming into a new core hub of the southeastern region and a robot-friendly city, are also exhibited. ▲ The Suseo Station area will be reborn as a future-type complex city with various functions such as transportation, business, and residential through development projects. ▲ The Suseo-dong 730 Robot Plus Demonstration Development Support Center, scheduled for completion in March next year, ▲ and the Seoul Robot Tech Center, being constructed on the site of the Suseo Station transfer parking lot, can also be seen.

Additionally, the exhibition presents a vision of a more livable Gangnam through the creation of public facilities. ▲ New complex cultural centers under construction in Gaepo 3-dong, Irwon 1-dong, and Suseo-dong, and the Gangnam Healing Center under construction in Sinsa-dong; ▲ six new complex cultural-type senior centers including Hak-ri Senior Center; ▲ the Gaepo Sky Dream Library, opened last March, and the Nonhyeon Cultural Maru Library, scheduled to open this January; ▲ and Gangnam Segok Sports Park, the first district-run sports park in Gangnam-gu, are also featured.

Jo Seong-myeong, Mayor of Gangnam-gu, stated, "Gangnam is now at the center of a great transformation," and added, "I hope that the blueprint of Gangnam shown through this exhibition will convey hope and expectations for the future where the district will take a new leap forward to the residents."
