40s Man Arrested for Approaching Runaway Elementary Student After Seeing 'Someone to Sleep Over' on SNS and Molesting Her

A man in his 40s who lured runaway elementary school girls to his home and sexually assaulted them was arrested on the 9th.


Judge Jang Su-jin of the Seoul Central District Court issued an arrest warrant for Kang Mo, who was charged with sexual assault and other offenses, stating, "There is a risk of flight."

Kang was urgently detained on suspicion of luring two 12-year-old runaway elementary school girls to his home in Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu, on the 6th and sexually assaulting them.


It was reported that Kang approached after seeing a post titled "Someone to let me stay" posted by the victims on social media. Kang sent a taxi to the location where the victims were and lured them to his one-room apartment, and the taxi driver found this suspicious and reported it to the police.
