Gangwon NTS, an energy equipment specialist company led by CEO Jeon Chang-yeol, announced on the 8th that following the receipt of the $50 million Export Tower award at this year's Trade Day ceremony, it aims to achieve $100 million in exports next year.
The company is a technology-innovative small and medium enterprise that manufactures and exports industrial boilers (Hot oil heater) and has expanded into Europe, China, and the United States. Recognized for its advanced technology in chemical plants, it received the $30 million Export Tower award in 2022 and has now been honored again with the $50 million Export Tower within a year.
The company explained, "Our main export product, the hot oil heater, is a device that supplies the heat source required in the manufacturing process of lithium-ion batteries for secondary batteries, similar to an engine in electric vehicles," adding, "It is an eco-friendly, high-efficiency product that minimizes environmental pollutants such as nitrogen oxides and carbon dioxide while improving thermal efficiency."
CEO Jeon Chang-yeol stated, "This achievement is the result of the relentless creative research and passion of specialized technical personnel who have worked for over 30 years, dedicated to developing specialized technologies," and added, "We will continue to contribute steadily to customers and the development of the export industry by achieving the $100 million Export Tower."
