Incheon Livestock Market is a specialized livestock market established in 1982, centered around butcher shops near the slaughterhouse. Through its own social contribution project, ‘IBK Hope Design,’ the bank supported improvements to the market environment by replacing store signs and constructing an outdoor rest area.

As part of this project, the aging store signs of Incheon Livestock Market were replaced with various designs, transforming the atmosphere into a lively and vibrant one. Additionally, the newly constructed outdoor rest area at the market entrance is used as a comfortable resting space for customers visiting the market on regular days, and during market events, it will be utilized as a cultural event space, serving as a multipurpose area. Nighttime landscape lighting was installed, and floor painting work was carried out to ensure pedestrian safety.

President Kim said, “I hope Incheon Livestock Market will be reborn as a local landmark,” and added, “We will continue to promote the IBK Hope Design project, which revitalizes local commercial districts and supports small business owners, fulfilling our social responsibility as a national policy bank.”

Meanwhile, IBK Hope Design is a social contribution project that provides design services and supports the replacement of aging business environments such as signs and shields for small business owners to revitalize local commercial districts. Since its launch in 2016, it has expanded nationwide to cities including Seoul, Daegu, Gurye, Busan, and Suwon, supporting 483 small business stores over the past eight years.
