Huons Meditech Awarded '7 Million Dollar Export Tower' on Trade Day

Huons Meditech announced on the 7th that it received the '7 Million Dollar Export Tower' award in celebration of the 60th anniversary of Trade Day.

The Trade Day awards ceremony is hosted by the Korea International Trade Association and organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. Every year, it selects and rewards companies that have contributed to pioneering overseas markets and increasing exports. This award is the result of targeting overseas markets since 2015. Despite the difficulties caused by COVID-19, Huons Meditech achieved export sales of approximately 7 million dollars (about 9.2 billion KRW).

On this day, Cheon Cheong-woon, CEO of Huons Meditech, received the Presidential Citation in recognition of his contributions to pioneering overseas markets and expanding exports, along with the 7 Million Dollar Export Tower award.

Huons Meditech has achieved success in Europe, China, and other regions with products such as 'Derma Shine,' a medical device that can consistently infuse medicine to patients, 'Derma Shine Balance,' which additionally applies a pressure-sensing automatic injection system, and multi-needles (sterile injection needles). In addition, extracorporeal shock wave-based urinary stone treatment lithotripters, infection control endoscope disinfectors, and medical disinfectants have contributed to increased exports.
