Gempper "Starting with tickets, all digital assets on the blockchain"

Next Elevation Startup Demo Day Held
Lee Junseop, CEO of Gamper, Presents Blockchain-Based Smart Ticket and Membership Service

"The field that currently needs blockchain is the ticket market with a high volume of transactions. Starting here, we will expand the usage area to all digital assets." The goal of Lee Junsub, CEO of Gamper, is to change the trading culture of digital assets in Korea based on blockchain technology.

Gamper took the stage fourth at the '2023 Next Elevation Demo Day The Beginning' held on the 7th by startup accelerator Next Elevation at Spigen Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

CEO Lee introduced, "Gamper's Tokket is a platform where digital assets such as memberships, tickets, memberships, and gifticons can be issued and used, and freely transferred and acquired."

The sector Gamper targets first with this technology is the ticket market. CEO Lee cited the growth of the overseas market's 'Ticketmaster' as an example. Ticketmaster started with paper tickets, moved to mobile tickets, and recently transitioned to NFT tickets, generating enormous sales. CEO Lee said, "We are collaborating with companies in various fields such as theater and concerts to issue NFT tickets."

Compared to other ticket reservation systems, Gamper's Tokket is differentiated by blockchain technology. CEO Lee said, "Using blockchain technology, transactions can be conducted safely and transparently." He explained that this can solve problems arising in the online trading market, such as scalping and loss of contact with trading parties. Additionally, it provides a chat function to form communities among people with similar interests.

CEO Lee stated, "Blockchain technology allows verification of data authenticity and enables asset disposal." This is also connected to Gamper's future business goals. Next year, Gamper aims for commission revenue of 340 million KRW and transaction volume exceeding 10 billion KRW. However, in Korea, there are various digital assets beyond tickets, such as gift certificates, memberships, and gifticons.

CEO Lee said, "Because the issuance systems are different, it is cumbersome for all digital assets to be traded secondarily. Our goal is to put all digital assets on the blockchain." He added, "Currently, we are in the introduction phase, starting with tickets that have simple usage patterns, but later we will expand to financial products." He continued, CEO Lee added, "So far, we have approached blockchain technology from various perspectives. Blockchain is a foundational technology that is simple for issuers and safe and convenient for consumers to trade. Through this, we will strive for financial equality."
