'Why Did You Come to My House?' Hosted... About 30 Employees and Their Families Invited
Ourhome announced on the 7th that it held an event on the 6th inviting employees' families to the headquarters to celebrate the end of the year.
The employee invitation event, "Why Did You Come to Our Home?", was planned to introduce the workplace to employees' families and to enhance family bonds by participating in various programs. It was first launched in May during Family Month and is now in its second edition.
About 30 participants, including employees' spouses, children, and grandparents, attended the event held at Ourhome's Magok headquarters in Gangseo-gu, Seoul. Ourhome prepared experiential activities that the whole family could enjoy together, such as kimchi cooking classes, food research practice, tours of the exhibition hall and research center, and writing family support postcards.
Ourhome Vice Chairman and CEO Gu Ji-eun also participated in the event. Starting with a welcoming speech, Vice Chairman Gu told the employees' children, "Thanks to the help of your moms and dads, the company has been able to grow, so please be sure to express your gratitude to your parents." After the event, she personally gave gifts and words of encouragement to the children.
An Ourhome official said, "We prepared this event to express our gratitude to the employees who worked hard throughout the year and to their families who supported them," adding, "We will continue to strive to create a family-friendly corporate culture where work and family can coexist."
