On the 7th, Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam selected five local companies that contributed to job creation and employment stability despite difficult economic conditions and worked to spread the atmosphere of job creation in the region as the ‘2023 Excellent Job Creation Companies’ and awarded them plaques of commendation at the city hall reception room.

Changwon Special City has selected five outstanding companies for job creation this year.

The selection of excellent job creation companies in Changwon City is a system that discovers small and medium-sized enterprises with high contributions to increasing quality jobs, such as increasing employment, hiring youth, local residents, and vulnerable groups, improving labor welfare environments, and social contribution activities, and provides benefits. It has been selected annually since 2011.

Companies selected as excellent job creation companies receive benefits such as ▲support for facility environment improvement funds including employee break rooms (10 million KRW per company) ▲special support for Changwon City SME development funds ▲three-year deferral of local tax audits.

The excellent companies were selected through a final evaluation by a judging committee composed of external experts related to jobs after a first document review and a second on-site inspection for companies that applied following the recruitment announcement in October.

The excellent job creation companies selected this time are ▲Gugu (CEO Lee Jae-cheol) ▲Moderntec (CEO Kim Sung-doo) ▲CTNS (CEO Kwon Ki-jung) ▲Autocontech (CEO Son Cheon-don) ▲KST (CEO Lee Jae-young).

These companies were evaluated to have made efforts to improve the quality of jobs by creating an employment-friendly corporate environment through hiring 54 additional employees in the past year, expanding local resident recruitment, implementing various employee welfare systems, and actively applying work-family balance systems.
