iMarketKorea Recruits Overseas Business Development Expert... Accelerates Development of US Industrial Complex

iMarket Korea is accelerating its development of an industrial complex in Texas, USA by recruiting an overseas business development expert from Samsung.


Gradient subsidiary iMarket Korea announced on the 7th that it has hired Mr. Namho Park, a former Samsung Electronics executive, as the Managing Director of its industrial complex development project in Texas, USA.


By bringing in a global business development expert with experience in overseas operations, iMarket Korea plans to actively advance the development of the US industrial cluster, tentatively named 'Taylor Technology Park.'


Managing Director Namho Park graduated from California State University and its business school. He previously served as CFO of Samsung Electronics' Austin semiconductor division and as head of Samsung Display's Suzhou, China branch. He also served as CEO of Hanyang ENG.


An iMarket Korea official stated, "We expect him to play a key role in establishing and executing professional strategies for the industrial cluster development, which will be fully underway next year. We will introduce a new type of industrial cluster supporting semiconductor, electric vehicle, and secondary battery companies wishing to enter the Texas market."


iMarket Korea's 'Taylor Technology Park' is a large-scale industrial cluster being established to support domestic and international companies aiming to enter the US market. To develop and operate the industrial complex, iMarket Korea purchased a total site area of 260,000 pyeong by the first half of this year. They are currently formulating development plans and attracting tenant and investment companies.
