Targeting the Demand for Affordable and Convenient Coffee Enjoyment
Tmon announced on the 7th that it has launched its own food specialty brand, 'Verry Value,' and released capsule coffee as its first product. Verry Value is Tmon's private brand (PB) prepared in response to the increasing preference for affordable yet high-quality food products amid high inflation.
Tmon introduced capsule coffee as the first product of Verry Value. In the second half of the year, the search volume for 'capsule coffee' increased by 11% compared to the same period last year according to Tmon's search data. The transaction amount from customers who searched also rose by 61%. Reflecting this trend, they launched capsule coffee that combines quality, taste, and price.
Tmon plans to expand the product range of Verry Value PB products to include ingredients and health functional foods in the future.
Lee Jae-hoon, Head of Tmon's Food Business Division, said, "Verry Value aims to establish itself as a cost-effective food brand that provides practical help for customers' budget shopping in the ongoing high inflation era," adding, "We will continue to actively incorporate customer feedback and preferences to offer a diverse range of planned products that satisfy both quality and price."
