Emart announced on the 7th that it will continue the second week of its 30th anniversary founding event for one week from the 8th to the 14th.

With the year-end season bringing more family gatherings, the event offers fresh food such as meat, health foods, and seasonal fruits that the whole family can enjoy together, as well as processed and daily necessities with discounts of up to 5% and buy-one-get-one-free promotions.

Emart is holding a large-scale discount event on popular year-end meat products including Australian beef, Korean beef soup cuts and bulgogi, pork, and native chicken. A representative product is the 'Australian Tenderloin Steak (100g, refrigerated),' which is sold at 3,576 KRW with Shinsegae Point accumulation, a 40% discount. When paying with a KB Kookmin Card, an additional 10% discount is applied, allowing customers to purchase it at a final price of 2,980 KRW, which is a 50% discount from the regular price of 5,960 KRW.

The total volume of Australian beef prepared for this event is about 170 tons over one week. Thanks to an increase in livestock and slaughter numbers, the price of Australian beef has been declining, enabling Emart to plan the event at a reasonable price through prior planning and bulk purchasing.

Daily special discount events are also prepared. From December 8th to 11th, for four days, 'Brand Korean Beef Soup Cuts and Bulgogi (refrigerated, domestic)' will be offered at a 40% discount with Shinsegae Point accumulation. During the same period, 'Australian Chuck Tender and Rib Finger Meat (refrigerated)' can be purchased at a 30% discount with Shinsegae Point accumulation.

For popular winter seafood such as abalone and bagged oysters, Emart is cooperating with the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries to offer discounts of up to 40%. The winter seasonal health seafood 'Namhaean Bagged Oysters (250g, bag, domestic)' and 'Live Abalone (medium/large/special, domestic)' are each discounted by 40% with Shinsegae Point accumulation. The most popular and common fish species, 'Fresh Mackerel (medium/large/special, domestic)' and 'Jeju Silver Hairtail (large/each/thawed)' are sold at a 30% discount with Shinsegae Point accumulation.

Winter seasonal fruits such as tangerines and strawberries, whose prices are rising due to poor harvests and reduced shipments, are prepared at discounts of up to 40% to ease the burden on shopping basket prices. Representative products include 'Naturalist Eco-friendly Tangerines (2kg, box)' at 7,788 KRW with a 40% discount when accumulating Shinsegae Points, 'Farmers Pick Sweetness-Selected Tangerines (3kg, box)' at 9,900 KRW with a 3,000 KRW discount when paying with event cards, and 'Strawberries (500g, pack)' sold at 9,900 KRW per pack with a 3,000 KRW discount per pack when purchasing two or more packs with event cards, down from the regular price of 12,900 KRW per pack.
