On the 7th, Daeseol, the solar term known for the heaviest snowfall of the year, the weather will be mostly clear nationwide and mild during the day. However, rain will fall temporarily in most areas across the country until the night of the 6th, so caution is needed for road icing.
Temperatures are expected to be similar to or slightly higher than the average (lowest temperature -7 to 3 degrees Celsius, highest temperature 4 to 11 degrees Celsius), with daytime temperatures rising above 10 degrees Celsius mainly in the southern regions.
The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between -6 and 6 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperatures between 7 and 14 degrees Celsius.
From dawn, very strong winds with instantaneous gusts of 70 km/h (20 m/s) or more (mountain areas 90 km/h or 25 m/s or more) will blow in Gangwon Yeongdong, the northeastern mountains of Gyeongbuk, and the eastern coast of Gyeongbuk, raising the possibility of a strong wind advisory being issued. Special attention should be paid to facility management and safety accidents.
Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' to 'Moderate' nationwide. However, the Yeongnam region is forecasted to experience temporarily 'Unhealthy' levels at dawn.
