JT Savings Bank announced on the 6th that it successfully completed the 3rd Child Abuse Prevention Campaign and donated 22 million KRW to the Gyeonggi-do Regional Child Protection Agency on the 5th.
The donation will be used for emotional recovery programs such as restoring family relationships of abused children and preventing further abuse, as well as for renovating residential facilities and providing daily necessities. Last year’s donation was used for psychological testing and counseling treatment for 60 abused children and perpetrators, supporting counselor training at the Gyeonggi-do Regional Child Protection Agency, and producing educational materials.
To raise the donation funds, JT Savings Bank has been promoting the child abuse prevention campaign since October through official social networking services (SNS) by posting related content. All employees of JT Savings Bank also participated in a step donation activity to accumulate funds.
Park Jung-yong, CEO of JT Savings Bank, said, “We will continue to activate child abuse prevention campaigns so that children who will lead the future society can live without worries about abuse.”
