Nakdonggang Basin Environmental Office to Support Technology for Small and Medium Enterprises

Director Choi Jong-won Listens to Small and Medium Enterprise Visit Complaints

On the 6th, the Nakdong River Basin Environmental Office visited the Ilsan Silup Chilseo Ethanol Plant in Haman-gun, Gyeongnam, a local small and medium-sized enterprise, to provide technical support together with environmental experts.

This technical support was arranged to inspect overall environmental pollution emission and prevention facilities for small and medium-sized enterprises facing difficulties in environmental management amid challenging internal and external conditions.

On the 6th, Choi Jong-won, Director of the Nakdong River Basin Environmental Office, visited the Chilseo Ethanol Plant of Ilsan Industrial Complex in Haman County to provide technical support together with experts in the environmental field.

At the site, they diagnosed and advised on improvement measures and provided customized consulting considering the characteristics of the workplace, including guidance on environmental laws and administrative procedures.

Separately, time was taken to listen to the voices from the field, including difficulties and suggestions related to environmental management from the workplace personnel.

Choi Jong-won, the head of the office who visited the workplace, listened to the difficulties and suggestions of the workplace and urged them to do their best in environmental management, such as reducing fine dust emissions and proper wastewater treatment.

Head Choi said, “Through technical support, we will actively strive to enhance the environmental management capabilities of small and medium-sized enterprises and establish a prevention-centered environmental management system.”
