SR Co., Ltd. (CEO Yongbeom Kim) has decided to donate 100 million KRW to the Daegu Cultural Arts Promotion Agency. The two organizations held a donation agreement ceremony at the SR Co., Ltd. headquarters on the 5th.
Yongbeom Kim, CEO of SR Co., Ltd., is currently serving as a member of the Daegu Mecenat Council of the Cultural Arts Promotion Agency and has been continuously engaged in donation activities to support academic activities in local elementary and middle schools, as well as socially vulnerable groups such as child-headed households and low-income elderly living alone. Since 2018, he has also been leading efforts to create a warm local community as the chairman of the Together Heart Foundation sponsorship association.

According to the donor's wishes, the Cultural Arts Promotion Agency plans to use the donation funds to hold planned performances and concerts to promote the arts in the Daegu area and enhance citizens' cultural enjoyment.
CEO Yongbeom Kim, who participated in the Daegu Art Love Mecenat sponsorship, said, “I understand that the Daegu Cultural Arts Promotion Agency is carrying out various Mecenat activities to promote local arts and increase opportunities for citizens to enjoy culture.”
Kim added, “I made this donation hoping to contribute even a little to the development of local culture and arts, and I hope that the pledged donation will help nurture Daegu’s arts and bring high-quality culture back to the citizens of Daegu.”
Junggil Kim, director of the Daegu Cultural Arts Promotion Agency, said, “We deeply appreciate SR’s participation in the Daegu Art Love Mecenat movement. We will do our best to ensure that the valuable donation according to the agreement helps foster local arts and contributes to citizens’ cultural enjoyment.”
