Gyeonggawon, Pangyo Valley Recruiting Partner Companies for 'Workplace Daycare Center' Agreement

The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency is recruiting partner companies for workplace daycare centers located within the Seongnam Pangyo Technovalley.

Currently, the daycare centers operated by the agency are the ‘Global R&D Center Workplace Daycare’ and the ‘Startup Campus Workplace Daycare’.

Workplace daycare centers only admit children of employees from companies that have signed an agreement with the agency for joint operation by institutions and companies.

The agency plans to provide specialized education support and age-specific programs through consignment operation by professional childcare institutions with high parental satisfaction, offering customized childcare tailored to the developmental level of infants and young children.

The ‘Global R&D Center Workplace Daycare’ is operated by the Puruni Childcare Support Foundation, and the ‘Startup Campus Workplace Daycare’ is operated by the Hanbit Barun Childcare Management Institute. Aside from government childcare fee subsidies, costs related to joint operation are borne by the partner companies.

The daycare centers accept children aged 1 to 5 years old, and selection is conducted by lottery among applicants of the same rank if the number of applicants exceeds the age-specific capacity.

A representative from the agency stated, "Through workplace daycare centers, we aim to provide a high-quality childcare environment and contribute to improving job satisfaction among members of companies in the province."
