Nominated for Best Foreign Language Series Award
Netflix announced on the 6th that 'The Glory' and 'Mask Girl' have been nominated for Best Foreign Language Series at the Critics Choice Awards in the United States. The Critics Choice Awards are organized by the Critics Choice Association (CCA), the largest critics group in North America. In March last year, 'Squid Game' won Best Foreign Language Series and Best Actor (Lee Jung-jae), and in January this year, 'Pachinko' received the Best Foreign Language Series award. This year's ceremony will be held on January 14 of next year.
'The Glory' is a story about a woman whose soul was shattered by violence in her childhood and who dedicates her entire life to a desperate revenge. It was a huge hit, ranking first in viewing hours across all Netflix TV and film content. 'Mask Girl' tells the story of Kim Momi, an ordinary office worker with an appearance complex, who becomes an internet broadcast BJ and gets unintentionally involved in incidents. It received great attention, ranking first in the Netflix TV (non-English) category in its second week after release.
