Ministry of Economy and Finance Approves Economic Education Policy Direction: "Anytime, Anywhere if Needed"

On the 6th, the Ministry of Economy and Finance held the "15th Economic Education Management Committee" meeting to review and approve the major policy directions and projects for economic education next year.

The Economic Education Management Committee is an organization that establishes and coordinates economic education policies and evaluates the appropriateness of projects. The Vice Minister of Economy and Finance serves as the chairperson, with government members from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Employment and Labor, Ministry of Health and Welfare, Financial Services Commission, and private members participating together.

The Ministry of Economy and Finance set the goal for next year's economic education as "establishing a robust education system where all citizens can receive necessary economic education whenever they want." The construction of a digital economic education platform has been completed to achieve this, and they plan to create an educational foundation through the revision of the Enforcement Decree of the Economic Education Support Act. Additionally, they will promote the production of practical economic textbooks, establish online and offline education systems for military personnel, and develop economic education content for youth.

A Ministry of Economy and Finance official stated, "We will continue efforts to ensure the smooth implementation of key tasks and the efficient operation of regional economic education centers."
