"Successful in China" Genesis GV60 Selected as SUV of the Year

2024 China Car of the Year SUV Category

The Genesis GV60 was named the Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) of the Year in the highly competitive Chinese electric vehicle market. This vehicle was selected as the 'SUV of the Year' at the 2024 China Car of the Year Awards.

This awards ceremony is one of the most prestigious in the Chinese automotive industry. It is co-sponsored by editors-in-chief of major Chinese automotive magazines, with more than 40 automotive media journalists serving as judges in the evaluation process.

Over 80 models competed for the SUV of the Year title, with three finalists including the Lotus Eletre and Geely Galaxy L7. The GV60 won the honor with 186 points (Eletre 121 points, Galaxy L7 103 points).

Since its launch in 2021, this vehicle has been globally recognized for excellence, receiving awards such as the 2023 Germany Premium Car of the Year, the 2022 Red Dot Design Award, and the Top Safety Pick+ (TSP+) from the U.S. Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
