YES24 Selected 'Book of the Year'... 2nd Place 'Saeino-ui Gareuchim'

Published in April, "Stolen Focus" gained attention by identifying the causes of modern people's declining concentration in social systems. Author Johann Hari said, "I was deeply moved by the many emails I received from Korean readers who read 'Stolen Focus.' We can all regain our stolen focus. Think about the achievements you are proud of?whether it was learning guitar, becoming a good parent, or any task that required tremendous concentration. Now is the time for all of us to make an effort to regain that focus," he shared his thoughts.

The second place went to "Seino's Teachings" with 33,585 votes (5.9%), and third place was "Fubao, Happy Every Day" with 31,539 votes (5.5%). Among the total 24 books selected as the "2023 Book of the Year," 7 were in the humanities category, 6 in fiction/poetry/drama, and 3 in essays.

To celebrate the selection of the "Book of the Year," a book talk with author Kang Cheol-won of "Fubao, Happy Every Day" will be held on the 15th and 16th at "The Bunk" in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
