CJ Daehan Tongun Awarded Sustainability Report of the Year

2023 Korea Management Awards Winner

CJ Logistics announced on the 6th that it was selected as the ‘Report of the Year’ in the Sustainability Report category at the ‘2023 Korea Management Awards’ ceremony hosted by the Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC).

This award was established in 1988 to disseminate excellent cases that contributed to the development of Korea’s industrial society and to present desirable corporate management models, marking its 36th year this year. Among them, the Sustainability Report category evaluates whether companies transparently and effectively communicate their ESG activities and achievements to stakeholders.

CJ Logistics received high marks for its proactive efforts to respond to global ESG standards and the reliability of its report. The CJ Logistics Sustainability Report, published for the seventh time this year, actively adopted global ESG disclosure standards and expanded the evaluation indicators from 279 to 348. To make the core ESG performance easily understandable, quantitative data and verification statements for each indicator were disclosed, enhancing the report’s credibility.

Kim Hee-jun, head of ESG at CJ Logistics, said, “CJ Logistics’ efforts to advance in line with global ESG standards have been recognized externally. We will continue sincere sustainable management based on 100 years of logistics business know-how.”
